These will be your first battles

As the L1/2 Help Desk Technician, you will deliver outstanding service to our clients with offices across Australia through onsite, email and telephone support.

The role requires you to have strong command of the English language, a professional approach and no Chewbacca Wookiee growls.

Some of the cool things you will start off by doing with us:

• Resolve tickets with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Diagnose and resolve desktop, printer and network problems
• Administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID and other cloud services
• Liaising with third-party vendors to resolve complex issues
• Provide onsite support and training to end users as needed
• Escalate issues to your team leader and action calls according to agreed SLAs
• Assist with basic automation tasks and exposure to AI-driven tools within Microsoft 365

You will also work on interesting projects, learn new cloud and AI technologies and be provided with ongoing training from the best Jedi Masters in the trade.

Experience and skills required

• 1-2 years in a similar role
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills
• Familiar with common backup solutions
• Endpoint Management – configuring devices with Intune and applying cybersecurity best practices
• Windows OS support & troubleshooting (Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2019-2022)
• M365 Administration – managing users, licenses and troubleshooting (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams)
• Networking & Remote Support – troubleshooting LAN/WAN, VPNs, and remote access tools
• Experience with RMM & PSA tools
• Basic understanding or interest in AI tools, automation, or scripting (preferred but not essential)

Selection Criteria

• It is absolutely crucial that you are ambitious, confident and have a passion for achievement
• You must be well spoken, professional and comfortable dealing with clients
• You must have a genuine interest in IT, cloud technology, cybersecurity and AI
• You must be willing to learn, take feedback and keep improving
• Must hold a valid Victorian Driver's license and own a car
• Must have full, unrestricted working rights
• Applicants without at least 1+ years of experience in a similar role will not be considered
