IT Infrastructure Manager & Senior Systems Administrator

About the Opportunity

Arcare is seeking an experienced and hands-on IT Infrastructure Manager & Senior Systems Administrator to lead the management, optimization and continuous improvement of the organization's IT infrastructure across multiple sites.

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, this role will play a key part in ensuring reliable, secure and high-performing systems that support both corporate and residential operations.

This position combines technical leadership with operational delivery, working closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure technology aligns with care delivery and organizational priorities. The successful candidate will also support and mentor IT team members and contribute to broader technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Arcare’s enterprise IT infrastructure across multiple sites
  • Ensure system performance, availability, and security across the organization
  • Lead infrastructure projects including upgrades, migrations and system improvements
  • Manage cybersecurity controls, monitoring, and incident response activities
  • Support business continuity, disaster recovery, and backup strategies
  • Partner with stakeholders to align technology with operational and care needs
  • Manage vendors and service providers, ensuring service delivery and SLA adherence
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring and support to IT team members
  • Contribute to broader IT strategy and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure management and systems administration
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies 
  • Experience managing cloud and on-premise environments
  • Solid understanding of networking, cybersecurity and data protection
  • Ability to lead technical projects and manage competing priorities
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience working across multi-site or distributed environments
  • A collaborative, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving capability
  • Relevant IT qualifications or certifications (desirable)
