Speed Gas is a 100% Australian owned company with over 25 years in the industry, supplying LPG, Argon, Oxygen, Nitrogen, Carbon Dioxide and more to customers Australia wide. We're growing, and we want good people to grow with us.

We hire for attitude over experience — if you're reliable, enthusiastic and take pride in your work, we want to hear from you.

What you'll be doing:

  1. Operating automated gas filling systems and manufacturing plants

  2. Loading and unloading cylinder distribution trucks

  3. Receiving and dispatching regional freight orders

  4. Testing and updating cylinders in accordance with Australian standards

  5. General housekeeping and compliance with safety requirements

While you may settle into a rhythm in certain areas of the operation, flexibility is key — tasks and priorities can shift at short notice depending on demand, and no two weeks are exactly the same.

What we're looking for:

  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic

  • Reliability and attention to detail

  • A commitment to working safely

Desirable but not essential:

  • Manufacturing or warehousing background

  • Forklift licence

What we offer:

  • Full time role with paid overtime

  • $29–$31 per hour (forklift licence attracts the higher rate)

  • Additional allowance for backup medium rigid drivers

  • Structured pay progression for long-term team members

  • Excellent career progression opportunities in a growing business

  • Thorough safety training and induction provided

  • Supportive team environment

  • Employee Assistance Program

At Speed Gas, safety is at the core of everything we do. You'll receive full training and work alongside an experienced team committed to doing things the right way.
