Hot Topic is an established wholesale company and has been operating for over 20 years collaborating with all of Australia’s & New Zealand’s largest retailers. Our team has the opportunity to work with some of the worlds biggest brands like Disney, Warner Brothers, Marvel, Mattel, just to name a few as well as being able to create their own innovative ideas in the FMCG and Mass Market retail channels.

The Marketing Assistant is the backbone of the team responsible for:

Category administration.

Briefing in product artwork to the design studio.

Product development – sample management, product approvals, coordinating production timelines.

Liaising with overseas suppliers.

Range and marketing presentations.

Retail market analysis and the preparation of market reports. 

Social Media Posts

Necessary skills include:

Sound computer skills – Word, Excel and PowerPoint will be your best friends!

Attention to detail.

Exemplary oral and written communication skills.

You must be reliable, punctual and flexible.

Retail experience is advantageous but not necessary. 

Reporting directly to the Senior Product Manager, you must be able to work autonomously yet contribute meaningfully to the team. In return, we will provide a strong career development opportunity, in a fast paced, can-do environment.
