Woods & Co Recruitment are partnering with a growing commercial and industrial supplier in Melbourne’s North, recognised for their strong market reputation and value driven approach.

They’re looking for a commercially sharp Sales Development Representative to take ownership of a portfolio of key accounts, drive sustainable revenue growth and protect margin through disciplined, relationship led sales.

This role is all about depth over breadth. You’ll be trusted to manage the full account lifecycle, uncover growth opportunities within existing clients and act as a strategic partner rather than a transactional seller.

What you’ll do:
  • Provide internal sales support to 3 Business Development Managers across QLD, WA and NT
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for BDM related enquiries, keeping things moving and relationships warm
  • Prepare quotes and proposals on behalf of the BDM team
  • Conduct outbound farming calls to warm and old leads, approximately 10 to 15 per day
  • Maintain and update the CRM with accurate client and activity records
  • Manage pipeline activity across your territories and support broader admin across the sales function
What we’re looking for:
  • A young, energetic and driven personality with genuine ambition to grow within a business long term
  • Someone who thrives in a small, family run culture, not suited to corporate hierarchy or rigidity
  • Comfort with a sales component, specifically outbound calling with no fear of the phone
  • Strong communicator across phone, email and CRM channels
  • Proactive, self directed and capable of working autonomously once up to speed
  • Experience with Pipedrive or NetSuite is a bonus, but not essential as training is provided
