About the role

Good Food Partners is seeking a skilled Production Planner to join our team in Rowville, Victoria. This full-time role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely planning of production of our high-quality food products. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will play a vital part in supporting our company's continued growth and success.

What you'll be doing

There is a focus on planning/scheduling activities associated with customers and products of Good Food Partners Pty Ltd.

• Develop and maintain production schedules using forecast data and customer orders and follow allergen restrictions.

• Provide input to develop inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs. Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities to optimise stock holdings.

• Liaise with procurement, manufacturing and quality teams to coordinate material requirements and production processes.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.

• Provide reporting and data analysis to support informed decision making.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve any production-related issues or bottlenecks.

What we're looking for

• Relevant tertiary qualification in supply chain, operations management or a related field.

• At least 3 years experience as a materials or production planner within a food manufacturing environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and drive improvements.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Proficiency in using production planning and inventory management software - PRONTO XI preferred.

• Be able to work in a team, use initiative and work with minimal instruction.
