About the role
Good Food Partners is seeking a skilled Production Planner to join our team in Rowville, Victoria. This full-time role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely planning of production of our high-quality food products. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will play a vital part in supporting our company's continued growth and success.
What you'll be doing
There is a focus on planning/scheduling activities associated with customers and products of Good Food Partners Pty Ltd.
Develop and maintain production schedules using forecast data and customer orders and follow allergen restrictions.
Provide input to develop inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs. Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities to optimise stock holdings.
Liaise with procurement, manufacturing and quality teams to coordinate material requirements and production processes.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Provide reporting and data analysis to support informed decision making.
Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve any production-related issues or bottlenecks.
What we're looking for
Relevant tertiary qualification in supply chain, operations management or a related field.
At least 3 years experience as a materials or production planner within a food manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and drive improvements.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in using production planning and inventory management software - PRONTO XI preferred.
Be able to work in a team, use initiative and work with minimal instruction.
