We are now looking for a driven Business Development Coordinator and Estimator to join our team and play a critical role in converting opportunities and driving project success.

• Great hours of work with early finishes! (Mon to Fri 7am-3:30pm)

About the Role

Reporting to the managing director you will:

· Qualify inbound project enquiries and liaise with architects, builders, and designers to scope work

· Prepare accurate estimates, quotes, and tender submissions

· Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and secure competitive pricing

· Recommend different options on materials to optimise the customer's project value without compromising quality

· Follow up on outstanding quotes and maintain the BD pipeline register

· Support internal handovers from estimating to production teams

About You

· You love building genuine relationships—asking the right questions, understanding client needs, and offering tailored solutions that add real value.

· You are detail-oriented and methodical, with a knack for spotting what others miss—whether it's in drawings, numbers, or follow-ups.

· You possess advanced proficiency in technical drawing and blueprint reading to accurately interpret construction specifications and identify critical project details.

· You appreciate the hands-on nature of a smaller, tight-knit family business where your work makes a visible impact every day.

Selection Criteria

To be successful in this role, all we require is you to meet the following criteria:

· Experience in estimating, sales, or project-based business development

· Minimum 5+ years of experience in estimating, sales, or project-based business development is essential for this position.

. Experience in stone sales and estimating preferred.

· Construction or stone industry experience is required to understand project specifications and material requirements.

· Australian permanent resident or citizen status is required for this role.
