Whether it's defence, aerospace, medical, entertainment, or heavy industry—if it's valuable, we protect it. As we enter our next phase of growth, we are looking for a heavy-hitting Senior Business Development & Accounts Manager to drive new business and nurture our Tier-1 accounts.
The Role
This is a dual-focus role covering business development and ongoing account management. You will be the face of our business, dealing with procurement managers, engineers, and production heads to deliver bespoke protective packaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Growth: Identify and secure new business opportunities across key sectors including entertainment and AV industries, defence, electronics, medical, and industrial manufacturing.
Account Management: Manage, retain, and grow our existing portfolio of high-value clients, ensuring exceptional service and repeatable revenue.
Consultative Selling: Work closely with clients to understand their technical specifications and collaborate with our internal design/production teams to deliver custom foam and case solutions.
Brand Championing: Promote our custom manufacturing capabilities alongside our premium Plastic roto/injection moulded case partner brands.
Pipeline Management: Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting and quoting to closing and post-sale relationship management.
About You
You aren't just looking for a standard sales job. You enjoy technical problem-solving and understand that selling a custom solution requires deep consultation, not just a catalog pitch. AV/entertainment industry experience is a definite plus – but not a pre-requisite.
What you bring to the table:
Proven Track Record: 5+ years of experience in B2B Business Development or Account Management, ideally within manufacturing, industrial packaging, defense supply, or technical component sales.
Solution Sales Expertise: Experience in consultative, technical sales where you have to understand a client's workflow or engineering constraints.
Network & Drive: An established professional network or the proven ability to break into new industrial sectors.
Communication Skills: Outstanding negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to speak confidently to both workshop floor managers and corporate procurement executives.
Local Presence: Ability to work from our Bayswater facility and travel locally/interstate as required for client visits.
