Production Coordinator
About the Role

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Coordinator to join our team in Tullamarine. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring production runs smoothly by coordinating schedules, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting cross-functional teams to meet customer and operational requirements.

You’ll work closely with Production, Planning, and Warehouse teams to ensure orders are completed on time, materials are available, and systems data is accurate.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and execution of production schedules

• Ensure production orders are accurate, issued, and completed on time

• Monitor and reconcile production order confirmations daily

• Facilitate daily production meetings and communication across teams

• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and SAP updates

• Identify material shortages and escalate to relevant stakeholders

• Generate key reports (e.g. missing parts, usage, downtime)

• Raise purchase requisitions and support stocktake activities

• Review and maintain accurate master data (BOMs, routings, packing instructions)

• Contribute to continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives

About You

• Experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment

• Working knowledge of SAP (or similar ERP systems)

• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy skills

• Excellent communication and coordination skills

• Ability to manage priorities and work effectively under pressure

• Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset

Desirable:

• Forklift licence

• Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles
