We are seeking a skilled and motivated Computer Network and Systems Engineer to join our growing team in Victoria. 

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining network and system infrastructure that supports both internal operations and client technology solutions. Task & responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain network and system infrastructure to support business and client requirements. 

• Analyze and optimize network performance, availability, capacity, and security across wired, wireless, and cloud-based environments. 

• Install, configure, test, and administer network hardware, servers, software applications, databases, and communication systems. 

• Monitor network traffic, system activity, and resource utilization to ensure optimal performance and operational continuity. 

• Diagnose and resolve network faults, connectivity issues, and system incidents, providing advanced technical support when required. 

• Evaluate existing network operations and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, security, and reliability. 

• Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, access controls, and monitoring systems. 

• Support the deployment and integration of new technologies associated with digital signage, automation, and smart technology solutions. 

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, operational procedures, and asset inventories. 

• Record and report network incidents, system modifications, troubleshooting outcomes, and maintenance activities. 

• Collaborate with internal teams, technology vendors, and clients to deliver reliable and scalable technology solutions. 

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and information security best practices. 

Qualification & experience

Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field. 

• At least five years of relevant industry experience may substitute for the formal qualification. 

• Industry certifications such as Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), Microsoft, VMware, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent will be highly regarded. 

• Demonstrated experience in network administration, systems engineering, troubleshooting, security management, and infrastructure support.
