National Quality and Compliance Manager

From Short Courses, Certificate based course and also the AMEP and SEE programs, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and testing all policies and procedures and training and assessment strategies to ensure the RTO complies with contractual obligations at all times.

The Role

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of training and assessment strategies and material
  • Oversee validation and moderation
  • Oversee review and transition of training programs 
  • Develop and roll out compliance updates
  • Ensure most recent audit report/s are available for access 
  • Ensure policies and procedures are drafted, approved and adhered to by team members
  • Implement and drive the completion of appropriate project plans where there are issues of non compliance with organisational policies and procedures 
  • Ensure quality indicator reporting to the registering body
  • Facilitate annual development of performance development plans for the department (PDP's)
  • Maintain RTOs scope of registration

About You

  • Extensive and demonstrated experience in a Quality & Compliance position within an RTO
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Contractual Requirements (State and or Federal)
  • Strong knowledge of the VET sector and the National Standards for RTOs 2025 and VET Quality Framework
  • Well-developed knowledge of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF)
  • Demonstrated ability work within multiple projects and varied requests in a demanding and dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and work collaboratively
  • Strong interpersonal communication both written & verbal
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to engage with key internal and external stakeholders 
  • Able to build, develop and maintain strong relationships
  • Proven ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines within a competitive market sector and highly regulated legislative and reporting environment
