An iconic Australian organisation is embarking on a significant technology uplift program focused on modernising legacy and bespoke tooling, transitioning to enterprise platforms, and improving engineering and operational capabilities across the business.
We're seeking an experienced Technical Analyst who is comfortable working deep within technology teams and can bridge the gap between platform engineering, architecture, integration, and business stakeholders.
This is not a traditional business-facing BA role. We're looking for someone who thrives in complex technology environments and enjoys working through platform, infrastructure, integration, and operational transformation challenges.

The Opportunity

As part of a major platform modernisation program, you will work closely with architects, engineers, platform teams, integration specialists, and business owners to define current and future state landscapes, identify gaps and impacts, and support the successful transition to enterprise platforms.
You'll play a critical role in translating technical and business requirements into actionable outcomes while helping shape the future technology ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse and document current and future state platforms, processes, and system landscapes.
• Identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and impacts associated with platform modernisation initiatives.
• Define business, functional, technical, and integration requirements.
• Work closely with engineering, architecture, platform, and integration teams to support solution design and delivery.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to gather requirements and drive alignment.
• Create and manage epics, features, user stories, and requirements within Jira.
• Support platform transition activities and contribute to operational uplift initiatives.
• Document workflows, integrations, APIs, system interactions, and process improvements.

About You

You will be an experienced Technical Analyst with a strong understanding of enterprise technology environments and platform transformation programs.
You'll bring experience across:

• Platform modernisation and technology transformation initiatives.
• Integration architecture, APIs, workflows, and system interfaces.
• Defining current state, future state, and transition roadmaps.
• Business, functional, technical, and integration requirements gathering.
• Working closely with engineers, architects, platform teams, and integration specialists.
• Managing work and requirements within Jira.
• Complex stakeholder environments across technology and business teams.

Highly regarded experience includes:

• Cloud, infrastructure, platform engineering, or DevOps environments.
• SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and modern engineering practices.
• Enterprise platform migrations and operational uplift programs.
• Data integration and enterprise application ecosystems.
