Maddyie Labs is building the evidence orchestration layer across documents, LIMS, QMS and procedural workflows. This is about building the brain of the platform, enterprise search, data provenance, AI that people can trust.

WHY IT MATTERS

The healthcare industry still builds audit reports manually from old folders, spreadsheets, emails, SharePoint and laboratory software wasting labor, slowing accreditations, and impacting time to market. We’re building the systems to fix that, and solve AI for industries where existing foundation models don’t meet the integrity standards required to do business.
Our initial target is the regulated labs market, expanding into the larger universe of regulated industries globally.

YOU WILL BUILD

●   Production Python backend services and platform foundations (FastAPI, Pydantic, etc)

●   Data infrastructure integrations (Postgres, Neo4, MongoDB, Ollama, Etc.)

●   Agentic Systems, GraphRAG, LLM Integrations (Gemini, OpenAI, Claude, Etc.)

●   Enterprise grade authentication integration layer and attribute based access controls

●   Managed Cloud based SaaS and Enterprise / on-prem product strategies

●   Testing, observability, reliability and engineering standards

WHO WE NEED

A founding engineer who has built enterprise grade systems, not just demos or data analysis.

●   Deep Python backend knowledge

●   Strong appreciation for clean code and modern engineering best practices

●   Experience with FastAPI, AI, data platforms and identity management

●   Ability to reason across product execution, service boundaries and future scale

●   Clear communication

Early enough to shape standards, architecture, technical culture and product direction

Melbourne preferred while the team forms; strong Australian-time-zone candidates considered. Compensation calibrated to capability and impact. Equity participation subject to agreed terms.
