Job Summary

Lead the strategic management, maintenance, compliance and lifecycle performance of CDC Victoria's facilities and infrastructure assets, ensuring safety, reliability and operational excellence across multiple sites.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager – Assets, the Manager Facilities & Infrastructure is responsible for the strategic oversight of CDC Victoria's facilities, infrastructure and plant assets.

This role is accountable for asset performance, maintenance planning, contractor management, compliance, capital works delivery and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will ensure facilities assets are managed in accordance with CDC Victoria's Maintenance Management System (MMS), Dynamics 365 Enterprise Asset Management System, ISO55001 Asset Management principles and all relevant legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the facilities asset register within Dynamics 365.

  • Develop lifecycle plans, maintenance strategies and replacement forecasts for facilities assets.

  • Establish and oversee preventative maintenance programs for critical infrastructure.

  • Ensure asset criticality assessments are maintained and reviewed.

  • Lead capital works, infrastructure upgrades and asset renewal projects.

  • Manage contractors and service providers to ensure safe and effective delivery of works.

  • Monitor asset performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements, asset management plans and safety standards.

  • Prepare asset performance reports and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.

  • Support the ongoing development of CDC Victoria's asset management framework in line with ISO55001 principles.

About You

You are a proactive facilities or asset management professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for driving operational excellence.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in Facilities Management, Infrastructure Management or Asset Management.

  • Experience managing facilities maintenance programs and contractor performance.

  • Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle management principles.

  • Experience delivering capital works and infrastructure projects.

  • Understanding of ISO55001 Asset Management Framework.

  • Experience using ERP/EAM systems (Dynamics 365 highly regarded).

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Commercial acumen and budget management experience.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sites and projects.

Qualifications
  • Degree qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline (preferred).

  • Relevant asset management or facilities management certifications highly regarded.
