Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced AWS Technical Cloud Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of enterprise-scale cloud environments. This role focuses on driving automation, building secure and scalable AWS solutions, and contributing to platform maturity across complex environments. You will work closely with engineering, security, and operations teams to deliver high-quality cloud outcomes while ensuring best practices across infrastructure, security, and DevOps.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end AWS engineering initiatives including design, deployment, and operational readinessDesign scalable, resilient, and secure AWS architectures aligned with enterprise standardsDrive Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform and CloudFormationBuild and enhance automation solutions and CI/CD pipelinesLead AWS networking, security, and platform improvements including IAM, VPC, and governanceTroubleshoot complex cloud issues and implement long-term solutionsProvide technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers and uplifting engineering standards
Skills & ExperienceStrong experience with AWS core services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, and RDSProven hands-on expertise with Terraform and AWS CloudFormationAdvanced scripting and automation capability using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or AWS CLIDeep understanding of AWS security best practices and network security controlsExperience working with container platforms such as Amazon EKS and KubernetesExposure to enterprise-scale AWS environments, including multi-account setupsStrong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
