We're looking for an experienced Production Manager to join our site leadership team on a full-time, permanent basis. The Role You'll own the workshop floor — driving production efficiency, managing workflow, and leading a skilled team of tradespeople to deliver repairs on time, to quality, and to the Capital SMART standard. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how a repair shop runs and knows how to get the best out of people. What you'll be doing: Managing day-to-day workshop production to meet throughput and turnaround targetsScheduling and allocating work across panel, paint, prep, assembly, and detail teamsMonitoring job progress and identifying and resolving bottlenecks before they cause delaysEnsuring all repairs meet quality standards at every stage of the processLeading, coaching, and motivating a team of automotive tradespeopleConducting toolbox talks and supporting a strong safety culture on the floorLiaising with the site manager, estimators, and customer service teams to keep jobs on trackManaging parts ordering and ensuring materials are available when neededCompleting production reporting and KPI tracking accurately and on time What we're looking for: Proven experience in a production or workshop management role within smash repair or a related automotive environmentStrong understanding of the end-to-end repair process — panel, paint, prep, assembly, and detailDemonstrated ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced, high-volume settingExcellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneouslyA solutions-focused mindset — you deal with problems, you don't pass them onStrong communication skills across all levels of the businessExperience with repair management systems (e.g. Autoflow, Estimage) an advantageFull working rights in Australia What's on offer: Permanent full-time role — Monday to FridayCompetitive salary package commensurate with experienceUniforms providedOngoing leadership development and trainingI-CAR training supportWeekly lunches and monthly team celebrationsStaff discounts on parts and toolsReferral bonus up to $2,000Clear pathways into senior managementGuaranteed Christmas shutdown Apply Now!
