We are currently seeking an experienced Insurance Claims Manager to join our team based at our Truganina Head Office.

What we’re looking for:

You must bring claims management experience working with vehicle fleets and logistics

Key requirements:

• Take ownership of claims once they are lodged and manage them through to resolution incorporating both motor vehicle claims and freight (product) claims.

• Investigate incidents and collate documents & evidence to assist with claim lodgment.

• Be the main point of contact for customers, repairers, and assessors, keeping everyone updated and on track

• Manage a portfolio of motor & freight claims at different stages, working through structured workflow queues and daily priorities

• Identify opportunities to improve claims processes and business outcomes

• Confidence working with senior leaders, frontline managers & customers.

• Ability to operate calmly in high-pressure situations.

• Practical, balanced and commercially minded approach to mitigate loss.

About the Role:

Monday - Friday (on site role)

You will own the Claims Management end to end

You will work closely with the Fleet Management Team and Operations Management Team across the business.

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in insurance claims management or senior claims handling

• Strong knowledge of insurance policies, claims procedures, and regulations

• Excellent leadership and team management skills

• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities

• Exceptional communication and customer service skills

• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines

• Vehicle Repair and assessing experience (preferred)

• Knowledge and experience with temperature controlled logistics (preferred)

• Relevant qualifications in Insurance, Business, or Risk Management (preferred)
