Title: Personal and Events Assistant

Salary: $50,000 - $65,000

Venues by Only is on the lookout for a proactive, organised, and hospitality-driven professional to join our growing team as a Personal and Events Assistant.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Coordinating and supporting the seamless delivery of functions and events

  • Managing logistics: venue arrangements, vendor communications, guest lists, and RSVPs

  • Creating event materials such as posters, menus, and signage

  • Providing high-level personal assistance to key executives including calendar management, travel bookings, and correspondence

  • Handling general administrative tasks: document prep, data entry, scheduling, and research

  • Acting as a liaison between internal teams, venues, and external partners

  • Supporting the development of systems and processes to improve team efficiency

  • Assisting with financial components of events under the guidance of the CFO and Associate Director

  • Serving as the key contact between venues and head office for event coordination

  • Maintaining strict confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion

What We’re Looking For:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a car

  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and a track record of meeting deadlines

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed

  • Proven experience as a personal assistant, event coordinator, or in a similar role is preferred but not essential. We value the right attitude and willingness to learn.
