THE ROLE
As a Senior Practice Adviser in the Integrated Service Practice team, you will support a range of innovative projects and duties that contribute to the implementation of the Complex Needs Project, comprising of several initiatives delivered across the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (the department) and the Department of Health.
The Complex Needs Project has been established to drive policy and service initiatives to improve the service response for people aged 16 years and older, with complex functional needs related to mental illness, psychological distress, cognitive impairment, neurodiversity, substance use or trauma who pose an unacceptable risk of harm to others and who are experiencing significant service gaps.
Working closely with the Principal Practice Leader, this role has a key role in influencing practice development by providing advice and collaborating with service providers and relevant professionals to build and support workforce capability and ensure continuing positive outcomes for people with complex needs.
