Personal Trainer — Grow Into a Lead Role | Point Cook
Full time | $35/hr+ (based on skill & experience) + super + all leave entitlements
Top highlights: Clear path to Lead Trainer with pay rises — we promote from within. Full-time security with super and leave, not the contractor grind. Mentored directly by an experienced trainer in Point Cook's best gym.
About us:
We're a personal training business in Point Cook — one of the most culturally diverse and fastest-growing suburbs in the country — operating out of the best gym in the area. Our clients span every age, fitness level, background and emotional starting point. Some walk in confident. Most don't. Our job is to meet them where they are, lift them up, and keep them coming back. We put health first and looks second. Anyone can chase a six-pack — we build people who value their wellbeing and stick with it for life.
About the role:
As a full-time Personal Trainer, you'll coach a wide range of clients in a semi-private structure, keep them consistent and motivated, and become a trusted part of a tight, ambitious team. Over time you'll take on operational responsibilities — helping run the day-to-day so the business keeps humming — which is exactly how you'll earn the step up to Lead Trainer. You'll learn directly from an experienced owner-trainer who's invested in making you better, not just keeping a roster full.
What you'll do:
You'll deliver high-quality personal training in a semi-private structure across all fitness levels, keep clients consistent and motivated by coaching the mind as much as the body, build genuine rapport with people from every cultural background, increase your capacity of operational duties, and support the team as you progress, and keep upskilling through ongoing mentoring.
What you'll bring:
You'll bring a Cert IV in Fitness (or be working toward it) and current first aid and CPR, and ideally 1-2 years minimum of personal training experience with capacity to train a wide variety of clients and goals. Above all, you'll bring reliability and consistency — clients trust you because you're always there. You'll have strong emotional intelligence and sense when someone's about to quit, getting them through the door anyway. You'll work with genuine ease across cultures and make everyone feel they belong. You'll have a long-term, team-first mindset — you want to rise with a fast growing business that already has a formula for success, not use it as a stepping stone — along with the drive to get things done and the humility to keep learning.
What's in it for you:
You'll get a clear, real path to Lead Trainer with pay rises as you grow, direct mentoring from an experienced and genuinely skilled trainer, full-time security with steady hours, superannuation and all leave entitlements, and a high-energy, diverse environment where your work changes lives every day.
How to apply:
Don't send a generic application. Send your resume plus a short answer to this one question:
Tell us about a time you showed up and delivered when it would have been easier — and completely understandable — to bail. What happened?
We read these first. It tells us more than any qualification can.
