Job Description
He or she must have experience in following machines.
- Rubber mixing mill.
- Cylindrical Grinders
- Lathe Machines
- Boiler
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Implementing and monitoring production strategies & plans
- Planning, organizing and controlling daily production of rubber rollers and checking the quality.
- Planning & liaising with Maintenance department to attend the breakdown and maintenance of the machines, Daily, Weekly & Monthly.
- Follow continuous improvement & Lean Production methods to reduce the waste and minimize the production cost.
- Making of Daily, weekly And Monthly reports and sending them to Directors.
- Training of other staff with respect to machine operations and production procedures.
- To observe performance of machine operators & general workers to get maximum output from them.
- Must have knowledge of occupational health & safety and should follow it while working.
- Providing Technical, Operational and Occupational Health & Safety training to all employees as per the work requirement.
- Ensuring employees comply with health & safety procedures.
- Should be able to operate any of the machines mentioned above as and when required.
Qualification Required
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
Work Experience required.
Minimum 3 years' work experience in a rubber roller plant as a Production Manager with hands on experience with above mentioned machines.
