The Company

Chobani is Australia’s #1 yogurt brand, living in the hearts (and tummies) of fans across the country. However, we’ve always been about more than just yogurt. Access to delicious and nutritious food should be a right, not a privilege, Chobani’s purpose as a leading food and drink manufacturer is to use our platforms, resources and influence to bridge that gap, to make a difference in the fight against food insecurity.

The Opportunity

At Chobani, we don’t just make yoghurt - we craft it with precision, care, and pride. If you’re process-driven, like structure and thrive in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment, this is your opportunity to play a hands-on role in producing one of Australia’s most loved dairy brands.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Production Inventory Controller to support our yoghurt manufacturing operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate inventory management across our yoghurt production lines. You will support smooth material flow, resolve ERP consumption discrepancies, and provide administrative and operational support to the Production Manager.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured processes, repetitive tasks, and maintaining high levels of accuracy in a food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and control production-related inventory within yoghurt manufacturing operations

  • Conduct daily stock monitoring, cycle counts, and scheduled stock takes

  • Timely resolve consumption and batch order discrepancies in the ERP system

  • Process inventory transactions, goods receipts, stock adjustments, and reconciliations

  • Ensure accurate inventory processing and reporting in line with production outputs

  • Provide administrative support to the Production Manager

  • Work closely with production, warehouse, quality, procurement and finance teams

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in food manufacturing/production environment.

  • Background in inventory control and stock management (desirable)

  • Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX highly advantageous)

  • Ability to resolve consumption variances and inventory discrepancies

  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

  • Comfortable working with repetitive processes and structured routines

  • Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong administrative and organisational capabilities

  • Safety-focused with a high level of accountability

  • Use of MS Office suite, particularly MS Excel.

Our team have a flexible, can-do attitude with a willingness to help others and are empowered to be proactive, take initiative to solve problems and embrace continuous improvement mindset for growth opportunities. Plus, you get to team up with a bunch of friendly and welcoming CHO-peeps in a company that genuinely values your skills and passion.

Note: You will have ongoing working rights in Australia, and you must make a direct application to be considered for the role.

Benefits

At Chobani, social responsibility is in our DNA and that means you will be joining an organisation that is constantly seeking to make a difference for the community, people, and planet. Chobani offers excellent work life balance, free parking and yoghurt whilst onsite, a wellbeing program and a great rewards and recognition program.
