Your New Role and Responsibilities
You will provide end-to-end procurement support across all programs within the organisation. This is a fast-paced, transactionally focused role, with involvement in sourcing activities including approach to market, negotiations, source selection and supplier relationship management.
Source, negotiate and purchase materials and services in line with program requirements, including approach-to-market activities (RFQs), source selection and contract award.
Raise, issue and manage Purchase Orders (POs) using the Leidos Procure-to-Pay system, and complete procurement reporting and reconciliations.
Conduct Purchasing Card (P-Card) procurements in accordance with company policy.
Investigate and resolve invoicing queries and issues.
Manage supplier onboarding and due diligence requirements, develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, and ensure compliance with legislation and Company policies, processes and instructions.
What You’ll Bring to Make An Impact
With your education and practical experience, you will demonstrate a proactive approach, with the ability to understand the business, identify issues and build relationships to achieve Leidos’ objectives.
Demonstrated understanding and experience across the procurement lifecycle, including experience in a high-paced environment and, ideally, in a similar role within IT/Defence.
Experience using financial systems, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks with competing demands, apply intermediate problem-solving skills, and demonstrate intermediate planning and organisational capability with high attention to detail.
Strong skills and experience in relevant technologies, with a strong customer focus and an outcomes-focused approach.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work in a team environment, remain self-motivated and self-directed, maintain high attention to detail, and build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels.
