About the Role

As the Store Inventory Allocator with the guidance of the Merchandise Planner you will be responsible for performing the replenishment of stock to stores and promotion allocation quantities (DC to Stores & Supplier to Stores).  This role is responsible for analysing daily replenishment requirements by category/supplier/ store in order to achieve agreed inventory and in stock targets. You will be collaborating across the merchandise team and store operations to ensure alignment of inventory ordered vs business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve agreed KPI’s of store availability, inventory $ & stock turns.

  • Conduct daily review of replenishment requirements by category / supplier / store to achieve agreed inventory and availability targets.

  • Incorporate market intelligence into the suggested order plan with the objective of maximising sales.

  • Determine the store allocation of promotional stock based on the merchandise planners expected uplift.

  • Take initiative to improve our financial outcomes and customer service.

  • Provide visible, values based, role modelling to the merchandise team.

What You’ll Bring

  • Degree qualified in Business discipline (desirable)

  • Experience as an inventory/allocation analyst

  • Stakeholder management and collaboration skills

  • Retail store experience

  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Excel.

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively & to work collaboratively in a team environment.
