We are looking for a hands-on IT Hardware Technician to assemble enterprise servers, storage systems, and workstations. This role is suitable for entry-level and mid-level technicians with hardware experience who are looking to build and grow their careers in the ICT infrastructure industry.
Key DutiesAssemble and install computer servers, enterprise-grade storage systems, and workstations.Perform system testing after assembly and follow internal QA procedures.Run diagnostic tests, troubleshoot hardware issues, and ensure systems operate correctly.Respond to support calls and emails, assisting customers and resolving technical issues.Support day-to-day operations of server, storage, and network infrastructure.Assist with internal hardware maintenance and operations.
QualificationsQualification in IT or a related field such as:CompTIA A+ Certification; orCertificate II in Computer Assembly and Repair; orCertificate IV in Information Technology (Release 2); orOther relevant IT hardware or systems certifications.Note: Courses focused mainly on Cybersecurity or Networking are less aligned with this hardware-focused role.Knowledge of installing and troubleshooting computer hardware.Strong hands-on skills and good problem-solving ability.Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a team-player.Comfortable with physical work (an average server weighs around 20 kg).
