About the Role

We’re looking for a Purchasing Officer who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys working closely with a close‑knit team.

In this role, you’ll be the crucial link between sales, production, suppliers, and the rest of the crew, helping us keep stock flowing, orders accurate, and operations running smoothly.

You’ll handle everything from stock replenishment to supplier follow‑ups, order acknowledgements, and performance tracking.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing stock replenishment and special-order procurement

  • Reviewing supplier order acknowledgements and making sure details are spot‑on

  • Chasing suppliers for updates and keeping delivery timelines tight

  • Collaborating daily with Sales, Production, Operations, Engineering, and Quality

  • Monitoring supplier performance and helping lift results when needed

  • Sorting out delivery or supply issues before they become real headaches

  • Supporting workflow improvements and spotting chances to make processes smoother

  • Jumping into general duties that help the team deliver on-time and at a high standard

What You'll Bring

  • A positive attitude and a genuine eye for detail

  • Strong communication skills (both talking and listening)

  • Ability to work autonomously but also gel well with the team

  • Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook skills at an intermediate level

  • Experience in purchasing, logistics or a similar role (desirable)

  • ERP system experience (desirable)

Who You Are

You’re someone who:

  • Knows how to plan, prioritise, and stay cool when things get busy

  • Works well with different types of people

  • Loves improving workflows and solving problems

  • Can balance professionalism with friendliness (and a good sense of humour)

  • Wants to be part of a supportive, fun, collaborative team

If you're organised, proactive, and keen to join a team that works hard and has a laugh doing it — we’d love to hear from you.
