We are seeking an experienced Furniture Maker who will be responsible for crafting custom furniture pieces from wood and other materials. You will use a variety of hand and power tools. Attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for craftsmanship are essential for this role.

Task & responsibilities

•    Create custom furniture designs based on client specifications and project requirements. 

•    Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials to create high-quality furniture pieces. 

•    Use woodworking machinery and hand tools to complete tasks such as sanding, finishing, and painting. 

•    Follow project timelines and maintain quality standards throughout the production process. 

•    Collaborate with the design and production teams to meet customer expectations. 

•    Maintain a clean and organised workshop, adhering to safety regulations and best practices.


Qualification & experience

•    Min 3 years proven experience as a Furniture Maker or similar role in carpentry or woodworking. 

•    Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials. Ability to work with both hand and power tools. 

•    Detail-oriented with a high standard of craftsmanship. 

•    Ability to interpret design specifications and technical drawings.

•     Excellent problem-solving skills and creativity.

•     Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.

•     A relevant qualification in carpentry, woodworking, or a related field is a plus.
