Chemical Manufacturing Operator
  • Ongoing Casual Role
  • Day shift hours, 6am to 2pm
  • $35.15 per hour

The Company
 
Our client, based in Moorabbin, is a global manufacturer supplying inks and coatings to the printing industry. Operating in a quality-driven and safety-focused environment, they are committed to training, product quality and service excellence.
 
Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Manufacture inks and coatings through weighing, milling, mixing and filling processes
  • Operate production equipment safely in accordance with SOPs and site procedures
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements
  • Support warehouse activities including receiving, dispatch and forklift operation
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety and environmental compliance
To be considered for this role you will possess the following:
  • Experience in a manufacturing, production or chemical processing environment (preferred)
  • A current LF Forklift Licence (highly regarded)
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality, safety and following procedures
  • Mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • The physical capability to perform manual handling tasks and pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
Hours and Rate:
Monday to Friday, 6am till 2pm
$35.15 per hour, plus overtime available
