We are seeking a full-time Logistics Operator to join our MEL team!

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Comply with World Courier Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the reception and shipment of materials.

• Perform activities related to shipments, including packaging preparation, and labelling.

• Utilize the Operative Systems for all warehousing processes.

• Effectively manage relabelling, stock management, and relocation processes.

• Streamline processes to enhance efficiency in the warehouse.

• Collaborate with packaging contacts to maintain sufficient supplies in the warehouse.

• Participate in an on-call rotational roster 24/7 with the logistics team to provide in-person emergency response for urgent shipments required by World Courier clients.

• Work in various temperature-controlled environments, including:

• +15 to +25°C

• +2 to +8°C

• -15 to -25°C

• Engage in scheduled weekend tasks for stock control and balance sheet processes.

• Be prepared to lift loads of up to 20 kg independently using safe lifting methods.

• Liaise with the Transport Customer Service team regarding World Courier transport bookings and processes.

• Share ideas and recommendations to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the business.

Experience & Educational Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of logistics and warehousing experience.

• Experience in receiving/put-away, inventory/replenishment, and pick/pack processes, including cold chain orders.

• Understanding of the sensitivity of handling pharmaceutical products and familiarity with SOPs.

• Current forklift license (counterbalance and electric reach trucks).
