We are an Australian-owned and operated manufacturing business with a long-standing reputation in the building and construction industry. For decades, we have been producing high-quality metal and timber products for customers across Australia. Due to continued growth, we are seeking two Machine Operators to join our Carrum Downs manufacturing facility. Within the Metal and Timber Manufacturing Division.

About the Role

Reporting to the respective Team Leader, you will play an important role in our production team helping to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Whether you have experience operating sheet metal, press machines, CNC machines or other machinery, and looking to develop your skills in a hands-on environment, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a range of manufacturing machinery and equipment

  • Complete production tasks in line with daily schedules and targets

  • Keep a sharp eye on quality and attention to detail

  • Assist with general manufacturing and production activities

  • Perform manual handling of metal and timber products as required

  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment

  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times

This role involves moderate physical activity and manual handling, so a good level of physical fitness is required.

About You

  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

  • Clear communication skills

  • A willingness to learn and contribute to a positive team culture

  • Physical capability to undertake manual handling tasks safely

Preferred

  • Experience in similar industry

  • Current forklift license
