Our National Brokerage team is currently looking for a licensed Customs Broker to join our team based in Tullamarine.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and lodge Import Customs Entries for all transport modes

  • Ensure accurate calculations of Customs Duties and Taxes 

  • Attend to all queries and impediments raised by the ABF  

  • DAFF AEP and COL’s processing 

  • Process Tariff Advices, Refunds and Drawbacks

  • Consult and inform clients on all ABF and DAFF related matters

  • Keep up to date with current ABF and DAFF industry changes and trends 

  • Invoicing customers

  • Liaise and support internal stakeholders to ensure quality customer experiences are maintained

  • Active role in mentoring Classifiers, including providing transparent feedback on quality

  • Support the services of our Custom Trade Consulting division

  • Strive to achieve all set company and team Key Performance Indicators

Requirements

  • Customs Brokers licence 

  • DAFF, NCCC & AEPCOM Accreditation

  • CPD and CBC compliant 

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

  • Customer service driven attitude with the ability to find efficient solutions for the customer

  • Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal, organisational, planning and time management skills

  • A can do attitude with passion, dedication and commitment to providing customer service excellence
