Reports to: Regional General Manager
Join our regional operations team and play a key role supporting Authorised Representatives (ARs), insurer relationships and regional compliance. This hands-on role combines AR onboarding and administration, compliance audits and practice reviews, reporting, and general office coordination across multiple sites.
Key responsibilities
Administer AR onboarding, maintenance and termination in line with IA policy and procedure.
Manage AR Quarterly Attestation (QA) follow-up, review and audit to report generation.
Prepare and complete AR Practice Reviews (PR) per the IA Audit Plan; set up systems/files and complete reviews.
Perform ongoing regional compliance administration and audits.
Review and record AR Key Business documents and maintain the Regional AR Training Register.
Prepare regional reports for the Regional GM.
Support regional education & training event coordination and participate in national/regional projects.
Manage regional office functions: phones, mail, stationery, equipment and basic IT.
What we're looking for
High School Certificate; experience in financial services, insurance or broking preferred.
Minimum 1-2 years' experience in financial services, insurance or broking is required.
Understanding of insurance environment and legislation (ASIC, license records, compliance obligations).
Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
Proven customer service and stakeholder management skills; ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
Experience with audits, practice reviews or QA activities and preparing reports.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident supporting ARs with basic IT/system queries.
Commitment to further insurance study (Tier 1 & 2); Tier 2 insurance experience highly regarded.
Tier 1 insurance qualification can be obtained after commencement.
