Queens Traffic is a rapidly growing traffic management company supporting major civil, construction and infrastructure projects across Melbourne and surrounding areas.
With a fleet of over 40 Traffic Vehicles and more than 130 traffic controllers, we are continuing to expand and are looking for an experienced Operations Coordinator to join our operations team.
This role plays a critical part in the day-to-day coordination of our workforce and projects, ensuring crews are scheduled efficiently and works are delivered smoothly for our clients.
We are looking for someone who has strong experience in scheduling or operations coordination, ideally within traffic management or civil construction, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to grow alongside a company that is continuing to scale.

The RoleThis is a hands-on operational role heavily focused on scheduling and coordination.
Working closely with the Operational Team and reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating daily traffic operations across multiple projects.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating daily bookings and scheduling of traffic control crews across multiple projects
Managing last-minute changes, crew movements and operational adjustments
Maintaining job information and updates within scheduling systems such as Traffio
Communicating daily job details to field staff including locations, start times and requirements
Acting as a key point of contact for clients regarding bookings and operational updates
Supporting supervisors and traffic controllers to ensure works run smoothly
Maintaining workforce compliance including inductions, licences and ticket tracking
Conducting site audits and supporting internal training and compliance processes
Coordinating vehicles, signage and equipment for daily works
Participating in a week-on / week-off after-hours on-call roster
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience in scheduling, rostering or operational coordination
Ideally has experience within traffic management or civil construction
Has strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Is confident communicating with crews, supervisors and clients
Can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Has a proactive mindset and enjoys problem solving
Holds a current Victorian Driver’s Licence
Traffic management qualifications (TMI1 / TMI2) or industry experience are highly regarded
