Coburg Basketball Association (CBA) is seeking an experienced Stadium Operations Manager to lead the operational performance of one of Melbourne’s busiest community basketball venues.

This is a senior operational role responsible for managing facilities, people, budgets, and stakeholder relationships, while ensuring safe, efficient, and commercially sustainable operations across all programs and competitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day stadium operations in line with organisational strategy
  • Manage staff and volunteers, including recruitment, rostering, training, and performance
  • Oversee venue bookings, maintenance, contractors, and service providers
  • Ensure compliance with WHS, child safety, and risk management requirements
  • Manage operational budgets, revenue streams, and reporting
  • Support delivery of competitions including Aussie Hoops, Domestic, VJBL, and Big V
  • Build strong relationships with clubs, schools, sponsors, council, and community partners

About You

  • Proven experience in sports, venue, or facility operations
  • Strong people leadership and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage complex schedules, budgets, and competing priorities
  • Sound understanding of WHS and compliance obligations
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
