Are you an experienced leader with a strong background in cranes and heavy equipment? We are seeking a motivated and organised Crane Yard Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy crane yard. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on safety, efficiency, and operational excellence.

About the Role

As the Crane Yard Manager, you will be responsible for managing crane inventory, coordinating dispatch and returns, overseeing maintenance schedules, and leading a team of yard personnel. You will ensure all equipment is compliant, site-ready, and maintained to the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

·        Manage crane inventory, dispatch, and allocation to project sites

·        Oversee servicing, inspections, and regulatory compliance

·        Supervise yard staff, mechanics, and operators

·        Ensure safe loading, unloading, and yard traffic management

·        Maintain accurate operational and maintenance records

·        Enforce workplace health and safety standards

·        Liaise with project managers and transport teams

About You

·        Proven experience in crane operations or heavy equipment management

·        Strong leadership and team coordination skills

·        Solid understanding of safety and compliance regulations

·        Excellent organisational and communication skills

·        Mechanical knowledge or technical aptitude

·        Relevant licences/tickets (as required)
