About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Co-ordinator to join our dynamic team at ASG Civil & Industrial, based in Laverton North, Victoria. This full-time role will be responsible for coordinating and optimising the operational logistics of our personnel, fleet, and civil projects, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

• Liaise with cross-functional teams, including project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless coordination of day-to-day activities.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive plans, schedules, and timelines to monitor progress and identify potential bottlenecks.

• Monitor and report on key project metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

• Manage the procurement and allocation of resources, equipment, and materials to support project requirements.

• Collaborate with the project team to resolve any operational issues or challenges that arise.

• Timesheet management, purchase order coordination, reviewing and closing jobs, and responding to client requests.

• Provide regular progress updates to senior management and key stakeholders.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our operational processes and procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar operations role, preferably within the civil utilities industry.

• Strong understanding of hydro combo trucks, jet trucks, and CCTV camera units.

• Strong understanding of water or utilities infrastructure networks

• Strong understanding of planning, scheduling, and resource management principles.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Proficient in using planning and coordination systems

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve operational challenges.

• Ability to work well under pressure and in a reactive civil environment.

• Adaptable and flexible, with a proactive approach to managing changing priorities.
