The Opportunity
Join our People & Culture team as the leader of HR operations, ensuring the smooth delivery of HR administration and employee support across a national workforce, reporting to the EGM – People and Culture.
This 12-month parental leave contract will oversee the day-to-day operations of HR, managing HR systems, employee lifecycle processes and the HR Helpdesk while leading a small People Services team.

You will
Lead the People Services team and build a high-performing culture
Oversee HR operations including onboarding, offboarding and employee variations
Manage the HR Helpdesk and ensure timely resolution of employee enquiries
Maintain and optimise HR systems including Cornerstone and SharePoint
Ensure HR data accuracy and compliance with employment legislation
Partner closely with Payroll and key internal stakeholders
Prepare HR reports and insights for leadership
Support audits, compliance reviews and HR projects
About You
You are a structured and process-driven HR professional with strong operational HR experience.
You enjoy working with systems, data and processes and are comfortable leading a small team responsible for delivering reliable HR services.
You Will Bring
5+ years HR experience in HR operations, HR services or HR advisory roles
Strong knowledge of employment compliance and HR administration
Experience improving HR processes and service delivery
Strong Excel and HR data reporting capability
Confident written and verbal communication skills
Desirable
Experience working with HRIS platforms
Experience working in a shared services or service desk environment
