 ABOUT THE ROLE

Mainfreight Transport Dandenong is currently looking to recruit new team members to join the PM Operations team based at our Mainfreight super site in Dandenong South, Victoria.

We are looking for someone who is not afraid to get their hands dirty and bring a positive attitude to work. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the organisation. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Freight sorting

• Securing and load restraining

• Freight protection and load quality

• Checking freight in and out of the depot

• Loading and unloading freight

• Maintain a clean work environment – housekeeping

• To maintain high morale within the team

• Ensuring our quality is above standard

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in transport/freight industry

• Operating counterbalance forklift – long tynes

• Loading and unloading trucks, local and interstate linehaul

• Ability to make decisions and follow through

• A positive attitude

• Ability to work in a large team environment

• Forklift licence

• Physically fit

• Experience in the industry isn’t necessary but willingness to learn quickly, work hard and motivated people are welcome to apply.

Hours:

Operating hours will be from 1:30pm – 11:00pm MON – FRI.

Flexibility for overtime is required. Options for additional hours and weekend work.
