About the role

We have an exciting role as Operations Supervisor within our VIC Collections Division, Premier Waste.

An exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic fun team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our customers and Drivers have a positive experience with our company and its products or services.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong customer service/operations orientation, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with customers daily. Email and phone

  • Process general phone/email sales enquiries, quotations, orders, invoices and credits

  • Data entry of driver run sheets

  • Supporting and leading the operations team to achieve targets and deliverables

  • Make outgoing calls to our existing client database

  • Make outgoing calls to our drivers

  • General Administration duties required

  • Provide problem solving solutions to achieve customer satisfaction

  • Carries out all duties safely, understands and works within the company operating principles and Values

  • Build and maintain positive customer and driver relationships

Experience:

  • 2+ years customer/operations coordinator experience, desirable but not essential

  • Significant experience in computer literacy and confidence in using multiple applications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Able to work well within a close small team

  • The ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Skills:

  • Self-starter who can both think strategically (considering a broad range of factors when solving/prioritizing issues and making decisions) and work within the detail in competing the necessary actions. Ability to translate strategy into pragmatic solutions

  • Exceptional communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills

  • Action orientated, with strong time management and organisational skills

  • Comfortable in having and leading constructive yet difficult conversations.

  • A continuous improvement mindset and a desire to make a positive difference

  • Emotional intelligence & relationship building across a broad range of stakeholders, and a strong collaborator mindset.

  • Strong understanding of and experience in change management
