About the Role

As the Operations Supervisor, you will use your strong understanding of transportation and logistics operations to drive station performance, improve efficiency, and maintain safety and compliance standards. You will support the Station Manager and Senior Operations Supervisors in achieving operational and financial objectives while leading a safe, organised, and high‑performing work environment. You will oversee Dragonfly’s parcel life cycle, including dispatch, returns, driver bookings, route optimisation, and delivery compliance. You will also provide leadership, coaching, and training to warehouse staff and drivers, ensuring high service standards, strong team performance, and customer satisfaction.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 4:00 pm – 12:00 am.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee shipping, receiving, dispatch, parcel returns, driver bookings, and route optimisation while monitoring operational processes and procedures.
  • Maintain warehouse safety, cleanliness, and compliance with Health & Safety standards, including audits, hazard prevention, safe vehicle movements, and emergency response.
  • Supervise unloading, freight verification, package sorting, scanning, returns processing, and quality checks on return pickups and client returns.
  • Manage driver check‑in/check‑out, loading processes, and real‑time delivery tracking to ensure on‑time and accurate deliveries.
  • Create and confirm driver bookings, generate next‑day route plans, and communicate optimisation updates to relevant teams.
  • Maintain accurate delivery, inventory, incident, POD, and compliance records, including daily reports, shift handovers, timesheets, and data entry.
  • Assign daily tasks, monitor team productivity, and ensure compliance with SOPs and operational standards.
  • Prepare and review performance reports, including on‑time deliveries, exceptions, and compliance metrics.
  • Provide leadership, onboarding, coaching, and training to drivers and warehouse staff to support a high‑performing team.
  • Manage employee performance, workplace conduct, and compliance, including disciplinary action where required.
  • Resolve delivery complaints, damages, lost packages, and customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Support the Station Manager in improving processes, maintaining strong Delivery Partner relationships, and upholding Dragonfly’s service standards and values.
Key Requirements
  • 2+ years of leadership experience, preferably in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Previous experience in transportation, freight, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Tech‑savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
