Our client is a global leader in lifestyle apparel, seeking a People Operations Planner.

You’ll support the People Operations Manager with resource planning, identifying cost‑saving opportunities and reporting across their Australian stores and distribution centres. 11‑month contract in Melbourne, full‑time, WFH 1 day, offering $70k + Super.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with APAC Workforce Planning and site leaders to develop optimised base schedules that drive commercial growth and maximise labour utilisation.
  • Monitor and audit timekeeping systems to ensure accurate fortnightly pay cycle processing and strict compliance with local Enterprise Agreements.
  • Provide data‑driven insights to managers regarding resourcing, staff availability, and recruitment pipelines to boost team engagement.
  • Support the design and implementation of new processes, systems, and SOPs related to regional resource planning.
Requirements
  • Experience in scheduling, rostering, or resource planning within Retail, Warehousing, or Call Centre operations.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Agreements and workplace Industrial Instruments.
  • Excel/analytics capability and experience with rostering systems (Dayforce preferred).
  • A collaborative self‑starter who builds trusting relationships and brings positive energy to the workplace.
