As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across Australia and New Zealand.  About the Role

 We are seeking a high-calibre Business Development Manager to drive new business growth and establish a strong portfolio of Corporate Clients. Reporting directly to the Director, you will play a critical role in expanding PCC's market presence through strategic business development activities and consultative solution selling.

You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, engaging senior stakeholders, developing tailored proposals, and converting prospects into long-term clients.

 Key Responsibilities

 Business Development & Growth

·        Identify, target and secure new business opportunities across key market sectors.

·        Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

·        Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events, and digital channels.

Strategic Client Engagement

·        Develop relationships with senior decision-makers including Procurement Managers, HR Directors, Operations Leaders, and Executive Teams.

·        Conduct client meetings, presentations, workshops, and uniform consultations.

·        Position PCC as a trusted partner through a consultative sales approach.

Tender & Proposal Management

·        Lead preparation of tenders, proposals, quotations, and commercial submissions.

·        Work closely with development team to deliver tailored solutions.

·        Present commercial recommendations and negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes.

Account Growth & Retention

·        Develop long-term account strategies for newly acquired customers.

·        Identify opportunities to increase revenue through additional product and service offerings.

·        Ensure exceptional customer experience throughout the sales and onboarding journey.

Market Intelligence & Digital Sales

·        Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.

·        Leverage CRM systems, LinkedIn, digital prospecting tools, AI productivity platforms, and data-driven sales techniques to generate leads and improve performance.

·        Contribute insights to support future business growth initiatives.

Reporting & Performance

·        Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity reporting.

·        Provide pipeline forecasts and market intelligence to management.

·        Achieve agreed revenue, profitability, and business development objectives.

 About You

 You are an ambitious and commercially focused sales professional who enjoys opening doors, building relationships, and winning new business.

You will bring:

·        Minimum 3 years' experience in a Business Development, Sales, or Account Management role.

·        Proven success in B2B solution selling and new business acquisition.

·         Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

·        Experience preparing commercial proposals, tenders, and presentations.

·        Strong digital capability across CRM platforms, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, AI-assisted productivity tools, email automation platforms, prospecting tools, and modern lead generation technologies.

 Highly Regarded

·        Existing networks within corporate sectors.

·        Experience selling into medium to large organisations and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
