An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Store Manager to lead the launch of a gorgeous store in Southland.

Our client is an established and growing ladies fashion known for modern women who value confidence. From workdays to weekends. With a loyal customer following and continued national expansion, they are seeking a passionate retail leader to take ownership of this new location from opening through to long-term success.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Store Manager who thrives in a dynamic retail environment and enjoys building high-performing teams while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The Role

As Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store's day-to-day operations, leading your team to achieve sales targets, and creating a welcoming, inspiring shopping environment that reflects the brand's aesthetic and values.

You will play a key role in the store launch, including team recruitment, store set-up, visual merchandising execution, and establishing strong local customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a retail team to deliver outstanding customer service

  • Drive sales performance and achieve store targets and KPIs

  • Recruit, train, and develop team members to build a strong store culture

  • Oversee daily store operations including rostering, stock control, and reporting

  • Maintain high visual merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines

  • Build strong relationships with customers and the local community

  • Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management

  • Monitor store performance and implement strategies to improve results

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and WHS standards

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in fashion retail

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team

  • Passion for women's fashion, lifestyle, and customer experience

  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and KPIs

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with visual merchandising and maintaining brand standards

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
