Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the overall day-to-day operations of the café to ensure smooth and efficient business performance.
• Monitoring sales performance, preparing operational reports, and implementing strategies to improve profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Managing staff recruitment, training, supervision, and rostering to maintain a productive and customer-focused team environment.
• Ensuring high standards of customer service are consistently delivered and handling customer feedback or complaints professionally.
• Maintaining stock control, ordering supplies, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring adequate inventory levels are maintained at all times.
• Overseeing merchandising and presentation of products to maximize customer engagement and sales opportunities.
• Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
• Monitoring financial transactions, cash handling procedures, and daily reconciliation processes.
• Planning and implementing promotional activities, marketing initiatives, and seasonal offerings to support business growth.
• Coordinating with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional customer experiences.
• Analysing market trends and customer preferences to identify opportunities for improvement and expansion.
• Maintaining operational records and ensuring all administrative duties are completed accurately and efficiently.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in business, retail, hospitality management, or related field.
• At least one year of relevant retail or hospitality management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Excellent customer service and team management abilities.
• Sound knowledge of stock control, budgeting, and workplace compliance requirements.
• Experience in café or hospitality operations will be highly regarded.
