Subway Hoppers Crossing is seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead our restaurant operations and ensure exceptional customer service, team performance, and business growth. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for retail and food service management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organise, direct and coordinate the overall operations of the Subway store.
  • Manage daily store activities to ensure efficient and profitable business performance.
  • Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff performance.
  • Develop employee rosters and manage staffing levels to meet operational requirements.
  • Oversee stock ordering, inventory control, stock rotation, and minimise wastage.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety, and company policies.
  • Monitor budgets, expenses, and financial performance of the store.
  • Resolve customer complaints and operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Implement promotional activities and marketing initiatives to drive sales growth.
  • Liaise with suppliers and ensure adequate stock levels are maintained at all times.
  • Maintain store presentation, cleanliness, and operational standards in accordance with Subway brand requirements.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Relevant qualification in Business, Retail Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field, or at least three years of relevant managerial experience.
  • Proven experience in retail, quick-service restaurant, or food service management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Experience in budgeting, stock control, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Sound understanding of workplace health and safety and food safety requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
