The Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Business Development & Account Manager to join our Furniture Sales team based in Melbourne.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role that combines business development and account management, with a strong focus on driving sales growth and strengthening relationships with retail partners across Australia. You will work closely with the General Manager and Managing Director, playing a key role in expanding Moran’s presence in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing new business

  • Identify and develop new retail opportunities across Australia

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with furniture retail partners

  • Drive sales growth through proactive business development initiatives

  • Travel regularly to visit customers and expand market opportunities

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven sales professional with a strong track record in business development and relationship management. The ideal candidate will be confident in identifying new opportunities, building long-term retail partnerships, and driving sales growth.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in the furniture, homewares, or home textiles industry is strongly preferred

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills

  • A proactive and results-driven approach to sales

  • Ability to travel regularly across Australia
