With a strong reputation, loyal customer base and ambitious plans for the future, we're now looking for an experienced Key Account & Sales Manager to help drive the next stage of growth.
This is a hands-on role that combines key account management, sales leadership and strategic planning. You'll work closely with customers, provide leadership across our customer-facing team, and help shape the future direction of sales within the business.
As you become established in the role, there will be an opportunity to play a key part in building a high-performing sales team and helping drive the next stage of growth for Promo Brands.
About the RoleYour initial focus will be on strengthening relationships with our key customers across Australia.
Success in this role isn't about pushing products. It's about understanding customers, uncovering opportunities, growing share of wallet, and becoming a trusted extension of their business.
You'll spend time learning about your customers' businesses, understanding what matters most to them, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring we're delivering the level of service and support that sets us apart in the market.
You'll work closely with the General Manager, CEO and the wider leadership team to develop solutions that create value for customers and strengthen long-term partnerships.
You'll also play an important role in bringing greater structure, planning and accountability to our sales activities while helping build the foundations for a high-performing sales function.
What You'll Be DoingManaging and growing relationships with key accounts across Australia
Conducting customer discovery meetings and strategic account reviews
Building account plans and identifying opportunities to increase share of wallet
Developing and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline through disciplined planning and execution
Working collaboratively with the leadership team and wider business to deliver customer solutions
Bringing customer insights back into the business to support continuous improvement
Providing leadership, support and accountability across the customer-facing team
Contributing to the ongoing development of our sales processes, systems and sales capability
Helping develop the capability of our internal sales team while playing a key role in building a high-performing sales team as Promo Brands continues to grow.
We're looking for someone who combines strong commercial capability with a genuine interest in people.
You'll be naturally curious, highly organised and genuinely interested in understanding your customers, their challenges and their goals. You know how to ask great questions, listen carefully, and uncover opportunities that others may miss.
You'll likely bring:
Proven success in B2B sales, retail product sales, key account management or sales leadership
Experience managing larger customer relationships and multiple stakeholders
Strong planning, organisation and follow-through
A structured approach to sales, account management and pipeline development
Exceptional listening skills and a consultative sales style
The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of outcomes
Strong CRM discipline and pipeline management capability
Confidence using spreadsheets, reporting tools and business systems
Comfort adopting new technology, AI tools and productivity platforms
Strong commercial judgement and analytical thinking
Curiosity, resilience and a growth mindset
A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong internal and external relationships
