The Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Mathematics and Science Teacher with the ability and experience to teach across Years 7–12, with VCE experience highly regarded. You will deliver engaging, student-centred learning experiences that inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of Mathematics and Science.

About You

You are a passionate Mathematics and/or Science educator who inspires curiosity and critical thinking. You bring a student-focused approach and thrive in a collaborative team environment.

You will demonstrate:

•       Current VIT Registration

•       Qualifications in Mathematics and/or Science

•       Proven experience teaching secondary Mathematics and/or Science (Years 7–12)

•       Experience teaching VCE Mathematics and/or Science (preferred)

•       Strong understanding of the Victorian Curriculum and VCE Study Design

•       Ability to use data and evidence to inform and enhance teaching and learning

•       Commitment to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers

•       Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills

•       Willingness to actively support the College’s Greek Orthodox Christian ethos, values, and child safety culture

Key Responsibilities

•       Plan and deliver high-quality Mathematics and Science programs across Years 7–12, including VCE

•       Use data and evidence to inform and enhance teaching and learning outcomes

•       Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and resource development

•       Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment

•       Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

•       Actively participate in professional learning and whole-school initiatives

•       Support the College’s Greek Orthodox identity and community
