Ready Steady Go Kids (Australia’s largest multi-sport program for children aged 18months – 6 years old) are looking for casual sports coaches to join our team at locations in Knox, Maroondah and Whitehorse areas.

We require fun sports coaches to encourage good sportsmanship, a healthy lifestyle, boost school readiness skills, develop gross and fine motor skills, as well as teach the basic understanding of 10 sports.

The role is best suited to energetic Uni students, a personal trainer looking for more hours or a Mum/Dad looking for a casual role working with young children. Applicants must be 18 Years or older.

Shifts are from approx. 8:30 – 12.30pm on weekends and approx 9am-12pm on week days (depending on the location). Please consider these times if you have weekend sporting commitments. You must be available to work Saturday and Sundays up to 12.30pm.

Criteria

* A fun, outgoing and energetic personality

* Be LOUD and engaging

* Be enthusiastic and confident to interact with children 1.5-6 years old (and their parents)

* Be active and physically fit

* RELIABLE and professional

* Have a current (or willing to obtain) a Working With Children’s check

* Have a current (or willing to obtain) a Level 1 General Principals of Coaching Certificate

* Would prefer someone with a drivers license and car

* Experience in coaching and/or working with children is desirable but training will be provided

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $24.40 – $33.50 per hour
