Our host is seeking a motivated and reliable 1st Year Apprentice Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic to join their growing team based in Carrum Downs VIC. This role focuses on residential new build projects and offers hands-on training with experienced tradespeople.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Rough-in: Installing refrigerant pipework, electrical cabling, and drain lines prior to plastering.
• Ducting Installation: Installing flexible ducting for evaporative coolers and split systems.
• Equipment Installation: Mounting indoor and outdoor units, including high-wall split systems, ducted systems, and evaporative coolers.
• Commissioning Assistance: Assisting with pressure testing, checking electrical connections, and starting up units under supervision.
• Maintaining a clean and safe worksite at all times.

About You:

• Genuine interest in air-conditioning and refrigeration
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Good communication skills
• Reliable and punctual
• White Card (or willingness to obtain)
• Driver's licence (preferred but not essential)
